Can I ship to any state?
How does the process work? You will first decide on the firearm you would like to purchase. After this you will need to pay for the firearm which can be done through our web site or you can call our toll free number 1855-4UTARMS and place the order. Once your payment is received and a Valid FFL is received we will ship your firearm to them. There will be contact information in the shipment for your FFL to contact you when it has arrived. You will have to go to that FFL and fill out the standard paperwork that is required to aquire a firearm. You need to arrange with your FFL/Dealer the payment arrangements for the transfer/paperwork fee that they may charge. UT ARMS is not responsible for the payment of this or arrangement. We will only verify that we are sending to a valid FFL holder that you provide us.
What document do I need to fill out to own a firearm?
What types of payment are accepted? We accept Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), certified check or Money Orders. We will not accept personal checks. If you do send a certified check or Money order for payment we will wait until the check or Money Order clears before we will ship your product. Please note that can hold up the shipment of your products.
What is your return policy? Firearms cannot be returned to us. If you have a problem with your firearm we will help you return the firearm to the manufacturer for warranty or replacement. It will be up to the manufacturer to determine this. If you have anything other than a firearm or ammunition our return policy is a 15% restocking fee and the item must not have been used. We will determine this condition after it has been shipped back to us. Buyer is responsible for the return of the item to us and we will evaluate whether the item has been used at that time. No ammunition can be returned for any reason. It is a liability issue. All used guns are sold as is. Before we offer the gun for sale we have looked the firearm over and feel it is in good working order and safe for firing. We are not responsible for any items that need to be repaired on the firearm after you receive it.
How is a firearm shipped to me? Firearms will not be shipped directly to you. After your order is placed you will need to supply us with a copy of your FFL that you would like us to ship your firearm to. Your FFL must either email a copy to sales@utarms.com or fax to 913-549-4878. Make sure they put a reference to your order number on the fax as we receive numerous FFL transfers and will not know which order it goes with which could hold up your order from shipping.
What if I place and order for a firearm that shows stock but is not? We do our best to keep accurate stock on all of our products. Our stock status is updated every day and occasionally it could occur that when you place an order the firearm shows to be in stock but it actually has sold out. If this occurs we will refund your whole purchase to you. We do apologize for any inconvenience this could cause but due to the downloading of our inventory this is something that could happen. We do our best to keep the stock status up to date.
Can I pick up items in your store? If you are picking up an item or firearm in the store there are a couple requirements for firearms. You must be a Kansas Resident to pick up a pistol from us. If you are not you must have that pistol shipped to your state of resident FFL and fill the paperwork out with them. If you are purchasing a long gun or shotgun with buttstock you may pick up from our store. However, if you take possesion of the long gun or shotgun in our store you will be responsible for paying sales tax. Also, if picking up in our store you will be required to fill out the federal background check for the firearm. If you do place an order online and want to pick up from the store it may not be ready for pickup for a couple days as some items have to ship in from our suppliers. It is best to call to make sure it is available for pickup. Make sure to have your order number so we can pull your order.
